Keto Granola Nut Bars Ingredients
- 2 cups keto cereal
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup sugar free maple syrup
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
Keto Granola Bars Directions
-
Pulse it
Add cereal, pecans and salt to a food processor. Pulse until coarse crumbs form.
-
Get a large bowl
In a large bowl, stir together sugar-free maple syrup and olive oil. Pour in nutty cereal mixture and remaining ingredients. Stir until combined.
-
Spread it
Spread mixture into a foil or parchment lined baking dish. If using foil, spray the foil with cooking spray so the bars won't stick to the foil. Press down the mixture with the back of a greased spatula. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
-
Remove & cool
Remove from oven. Let cool for 15 minutes before cutting into bars with a knife.

Low carb granola bars recipe
Crispy, crunchy keto granola bars are a staple in my house with my two active boys. These homemade granola bars are something easy they can grab whether they are packing their lunch or needing a quick bite before soccer practice. They also make a good option for keto camping or hiking.
I like that these low carb granola bars are easy to make and versatile. So I can use a mix of nuts and seeds – even through in chocolate chips – if I want to make a different flavor. Feel free to add any nuts or seeds you have in your pantry.
Keto approved cereal
I like to add some keto cereal to my low carb granola bars. There are a couple different manufacturers that make sugar-free cereal. And they come in all kinds of different flavors so you can experiment with different types when it comes to make these gluten free granola bars.
Magic Spoon is the cereal that I used for this recipe. All of there cereals are in a characteristic “O” shape. They have a wide range of flavors – from Frosted, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Fruity, Blueberry and MORE! All of their cereals are gluten free and grain free. They are about 3 grams net carbs per serving.
Another keto cereal option you can use for this nut bar recipe is HighKey. They also have low carb cereals that are protein based and gluten free.
Sugar free syrup
The glue that helps hold these low carb bars together is the maple syrup, but be sure to get sugar-free maple syrup. My favorite brand is by ChocZero. You can save 10% off your order with my affiliate link KETOFOCUS.
There are other brands that make sugar-free syrups. Some are even available at the grocery store.
Cereal bar storage
Store your leftover keto granola bars at room temperature in an air tight container or bag. They will stay fresh for about 7-10 days, that is, if they last that long!
Variations
This keto granola bar recipes uses keto cereal, pecans, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and coconut. However, you don’t have to follow this recipe exactly, you can use whatever combination of keto friendly nuts, seeds and cereal you have on hand.
Don’t have keto cereal, you can omit it. Have macadamia nuts instead of pecans – go for it! Here are some low carb friendly substitutes you can use in your cereal bars.
